Overview

Ol Pejeta Conservancy is a trailblazer in conservation and offers one of the most unique safari experiences in Kenya. This three day trip takes you to the foothills of Mount Kenya where you will explore the largest black rhino sanctuary in East Africa. You will also visit the Sweetwaters Chimpanzee Sanctuary, the only place in Kenya to see these primates. The conservancy boasts the highest predator density in the region, ensuring thrilling game drives.

Day-by-Day Itinerary

Day 1
Travel to Laikipia and Afternoon Game Drive
You will depart Nairobi and drive towards the Laikipia Plateau, arriving at Ol Pejeta Conservancy by midday. After lunch and a brief rest, you will embark on an afternoon game drive. The conservancy open plains make spotting wildlife remarkably easy, and you are highly likely to encounter elephants, giraffes, and several black rhinos before the sun sets.

Day 2
Rhinos, Chimpanzees and Predators
Today includes a visit to the Sweetwaters Chimpanzee Sanctuary to learn about the rescue and rehabilitation of these intelligent primates. You will then continue with a comprehensive game drive across the conservancy, tracking prides of lions and solitary leopards. You will also have the option to visit the endangered species enclosure to see the last two remaining northern white rhinos.

Morning Exploration and Return
