Overview

This two day adventure takes you to Amboseli National Park, the second most popular wildlife park in Kenya. Amboseli is famous for being the best place in the world to get close to free ranging elephants. The park is blessed with the spectacular backdrop of Mount Kilimanjaro, the highest free standing mountain in the world. You will enjoy extensive game drives across the observation hill which offers panoramas of the peak and the park plains and swamps, observing lions, cheetahs, and abundant bird species.

Day-by-Day Itinerary

Day 1
Journey to Amboseli and Afternoon Game Drive
You will leave Nairobi in the morning and drive southward toward Amboseli National Park. Arriving around midday, you will check into your accommodation and enjoy a hot lunch. In the late afternoon, you will head out for your first game drive, searching for the famous large tusked elephants that roam the dusty plains. As evening approaches, the clouds often clear to reveal the majestic snow capped peak of Mount Kilimanjaro.

Day 2
Morning Game Drive and Return to Nairobi
You will wake up early for a morning game drive when predators are most active and the views of Mount Kilimanjaro are typically at their clearest. You will visit the Observation Hill to take in the vast swamps where elephants and hippos bathe. After returning to your lodge for a full breakfast, you will check out and begin your journey back to Nairobi, arriving in the mid afternoon.
