Sirimon Bandas and Campsite is operated by Kenya Wildlife Service at the Sirimon Gate, the most popular starting point for the Sirimon trekking route up Mount Kenya. The facility provides basic but adequate accommodation in self-catering bandas and a campsite for trekkers and climbers. Blankets and basic cooking facilities are available. The highland forest setting at the gate is beautiful and wildlife including buffalo, elephant, and colobus monkeys is frequently encountered nearby.
