About This Lodge

Serena Mountain Lodge is set at 2,195 metres on the eastern slopes of Mount Kenya within the national park, offering one of the most atmospheric forest lodge experiences in Kenya. The lodge overlooks a waterhole, salt lick, and pool where wildlife visits throughout the day and night. Alarm bells summon guests to viewing decks when special sightings occur. Common waterhole visitors include elephant, buffalo, giant forest hog, various antelope, and on occasion the rare mountain bongo.
