Diani Beach

Diani Beach on the south coast of Kenya is widely regarded as one of the finest beaches in Africa and the Indian Ocean. The beach stretches over 17 unbroken kilometres of coral white sand shaded by indigenous coastal forest and fronted by a lagoon of calm turquoise water protected by an offshore reef. The reef supports outstanding snorkelling and scuba diving with visibility frequently exceeding 20 metres. Diani is also home to the Endangered Colobus Conservation project, protecting the rare Angolan colobus monkeys that inhabit the beach forest.
